Terms & Conditions

These terms govern every quote, booking, treatment, invoice and Certificate of Compliance issued by PestAll Services (Pty) Ltd. They are written in plain language so you know exactly what you are agreeing to before we start work.

Effective 24 May 2026 Last updated 24 May 2026 Version 1.0

1Who these terms apply to

These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by PestAll Services (Pty) Ltd (registration number 2025/980224/07), hereafter "PestAll", "we", "us" or "our". They apply to residential customers, commercial clients, body corporates, letting agents, exporters, agri-storage operators and any other person or entity ("you" or "the client") who requests a quote, accepts a quote, or books any service from us.

By accepting a written quote, paying a deposit, signing a job sheet, or instructing us to proceed verbally, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms. If you are booking on behalf of a company or body corporate, you confirm that you have authority to bind that entity.

2Quotations

2.1 How we quote

All quotes are issued in writing — by email or WhatsApp — following a free site inspection. We do not quote over the phone without seeing the property, because the correct treatment method, product choice, and scope depend on what we find on site. Verbal estimates given before inspection are indicative only and are not binding.

2.2 Validity period

Quote validity — 14 calendar days

A written quote from PestAll is valid for 14 calendar days from the date it is issued. After this period the quote lapses and a new inspection and quote may be required, as site conditions, product availability and pricing can change.

Fumigation quotes (commodity, container, residential and silo) are valid for 7 calendar days due to fluctuating active-ingredient costs and scheduling constraints around gas-tightness testing.

2.3 What pricing is subject to

All prices stated in a quote are subject to the following:

3Payment

3.1 Payment terms

Invoices are issued on or shortly after the day of treatment. Payment terms are 30 days from the date of invoice unless otherwise agreed in writing before the job. Fumigation jobs and jobs involving a Certificate of Compliance require payment before the certificate is released.

3.2 Deposits

For fumigation treatments, large commercial jobs, or where specialist products need to be ordered in advance, we may require a deposit of up to 50% of the quoted amount before scheduling the job. This will be stated in the written quote.

3.3 Late payment

Accounts overdue by more than 30 days from the invoice date may attract interest at the rate prescribed by the National Credit Act. We reserve the right to withhold further services and the release of Certificates of Compliance until any overdue balance is settled in full.

3.4 Proof of payment

Send proof of payment to accounts@pestall.co.za. Please use your invoice number as the payment reference.

4Service guarantee

4.1 Standard 90-day guarantee

All pest control treatments carry a 90-day guarantee from the date of the treatment, stated on your invoice. If the same pest species returns at the same site within the guarantee period, we will return and re-treat at no additional charge, subject to the exclusions in section 4.2.

4.2 Guarantee exclusions

The guarantee does not apply where:

4.3 Day-14 follow-up

Our standard protocol includes a follow-up inspection approximately 14 days after treatment. This is built into the service — not an extra charge. We use it to verify the treatment result and to catch any activity we need to deal with inside the guarantee period. Please keep this appointment; if the site is inaccessible on the scheduled date, contact Chantal to reschedule.

5Your obligations — access and preparation

5.1 Site access

You must ensure safe and unobstructed access to all areas that need treatment on the agreed date and time. If we arrive and cannot access the site — locked gates, no-one home, obstructed areas — the visit will be charged as a call-out fee at the rate stated in the quote. We will rebook as soon as schedule allows.

5.2 Pre-treatment preparation

We will tell you exactly what to do before we arrive — specific to the service. General requirements across most treatments include:

Failure to prepare the site as instructed may reduce treatment effectiveness and will void the guarantee for the affected area.

5.3 Re-entry periods

We will give you a specific re-entry interval after every treatment — verbally on the day and in the treatment report. Do not re-enter a treated area before this interval has passed. For fumigation, re-entry is only permitted after we have taken a clearance reading and confirmed it in writing. There is no exception to this.

6Wood Borer Certificates of Compliance

6.1 What a COC covers

A Wood Borer Certificate of Compliance (COC) certifies that all roof timber on the named property was inspected, treated where required, and found free of active wood borer infestation at the time of the treatment. It is issued in accordance with standard practice for South African property transfers.

6.2 When we issue it

The COC is issued on the day the treatment is complete and payment has been received. We send it directly to the email address you specify — typically your conveyancer or transferring attorney — so it does not sit in a queue. Same day, every time.

6.3 Scope of the COC

The COC applies only to the roof structure and timber visible and accessible at the time of treatment. It does not cover timber inside solid walls, under concrete floors, or in areas that were sealed or inaccessible. If access was restricted, we will note this on the certificate. The COC is valid for the 90-day guarantee period; if a transfer is delayed significantly beyond this period, a re-inspection may be required by the bond originator or transferring attorney.

6.4 Withheld pending payment

The COC will not be released until the invoice is settled in full. If your transfer is time-critical, please ensure payment is made promptly — bank transfers with proof of payment sent to accounts@pestall.co.za are processed same day.

7Fumigation services — additional terms

Fumigation is a regulated activity

Fumigation treatments use registered pesticide gases under South African legislation. By accepting a fumigation quote, you confirm that you understand and accept the safety requirements in this section.

7.1 Certified operator

All fumigation treatments are performed personally by Romeo De Jager, a certified fumigation operator. We do not sub-contract fumigation work. Where a job requires more than one operator, all additional personnel are trained and operate under direct supervision.

7.2 Client obligations for fumigation

7.3 Clearance certificate

A fumigation clearance certificate is issued after a confirmed clearance reading. This document is required by shipping lines, commodity buyers, grain elevators, and environmental health officers. We retain a copy on file; see our Privacy Policy for retention periods.

8Cancellation and rescheduling

8.1 Cancellation by the client

You may cancel or reschedule a booked treatment by contacting Chantal at 082 896 3898 or info@pestall.co.za. We ask for at least 24 hours' notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged a call-out fee to cover vehicle and technician time already allocated.

For fumigation treatments requiring specialist preparation (gas, sheeting, equipment pre-positioned), cancellations with less than 48 hours' notice may be charged for consumables and setup costs already incurred, stated as a maximum amount in the original quote.

8.2 Cancellation by PestAll

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a booking where weather conditions make a treatment unsafe or ineffective (particularly relevant to fumigation and outdoor treatments), where site conditions differ materially from what was quoted, or in the event of unforeseen operational circumstances. We will contact you as early as possible and reschedule at no additional cost.

9Limitation of liability

PestAll's liability in connection with any service is limited to the cost of that service as stated on the invoice. We are not liable for:

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for any liability that cannot be excluded under South African consumer protection law.

10Consumer Protection Act

If you are a consumer as defined in the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 ("CPA"), your statutory rights under the CPA apply. Nothing in these terms is intended to exclude or limit any right you have under the CPA. In particular, you have the right to receive services of acceptable quality, and to a remedy where services are defective.

11Disputes

We would prefer to resolve any dispute directly — call Romeo on 082 896 3898 or email info@pestall.co.za and we will respond within two business days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it will be referred to arbitration under the rules of the Arbitration Foundation of South Africa (AFSA), or to the appropriate court having jurisdiction, at the election of the claimant.

12Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. You consent to the jurisdiction of the courts of the Eastern Cape for any dispute arising from these terms or from any service we provide.

13Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version and date at the top of this page reflect the current revision. Any quote issued before a change to these terms is governed by the version in force at the time the quote was issued. Material changes affecting ongoing service contracts will be communicated by email before they take effect.
